Yoga with Melisa

Yoga invigorates and relaxes the body and mind.  Melisa loves the fact that because everyone is different, yoga can take many different forms.  For some people yoga may be best practised by sitting quietly and meditating; whereas others may prefer to control their breath in conjunction with movement and/or holding different physical poses ("asanas").  For some, faster paced, flowing sequences of asanas work the best; whereas others find that static poses are more beneficial for them, focusing intensely on correct alignment.

Melisa's yoga lessons adapt according to her clients/pupils.  Generally she endeavours to incorporate feelings of positivity, empowerment and acceptance into her classes, together with a sense of playfulness and creativity; while emphasising mindful breathing and awareness of accurate postural alignment.

Yoga for Office Workers
