Melisa's Recommendations

Yoga teachers

  • Tim Sibley

Tim is my favourite yoga teacher, and a real source of inspiration!  His vinyasa flow classes place emphasis on the chakras, mental attitude and the emotions.  I always feel amazing during and after attending his classes!

  • Elena Voyce

Elena is well known for her integrity when it comes to alignment and drawing strength from the bandhas.

I've trained with Elena and her colleagues at Teach Yoga Ltd. for my Yoga Alliance 200-hr qualification, and also for the British Wheel of Yoga 500-hr Diploma.

Others

  • Gee Gahir, Holistic Therapist

I met Gee on my yoga teacher training course.  I'm bowled over by her expertise, knowledge and application when it comes to complementary therapies such as Feng Shui, Shiatsu and Nutrition. Radiating positivity and perfect common sense, she's a wonderful person to go to for advice!

  • Movement For Modern Life, Website

This is an excellent website founded by the wonderfully positive Kat Farrants.  A former City lawyer, Kat recognised the fact many people in the UK are unable to regularly attend good yoga classes for various reasons.  Subscribers to this website can "attend" on-line yoga classes led by well-reputed teachers whenever they wish - subject to internet connection (and space to practice!)

  • David Thomas, Illustrator

Some of my blogs feature illustrations by the very talented artist, David Thomas (who just happens to be my brother!)
